Picture Polish Wanderlust

Hi Caitlyn! :)  Methinks you are my only reader, so why not send a shout out to you!?
I wore this crazy polish a few weeks ago; it's crazy because my camera (or my lack of skills) could not capture the accurate colour of the polish.  It is a deeper pink, but it definitely rocks purple tones.
This just looks hot pink!  Ah well.  It applied nicely in two coats, as do about 99% of PPs.  As for my accent nail, I'm not exactly sure, but I believe it is Glam Too Glam to Give a Damn.  Glam creates some awesome holo glitter creations, but after a while, the silver-based ones all begin to look alike. #firstworldproblems

A few months ago, I thought I would try a rounded nail shape; I'm not sure if I like it on me.  I think they would definitely look better on nails with longer nail beds.  Oh well.  Amazing thing about nails is that they grow out!  Have a wonderful Easter weekend. :)

Blue Holo Skittles

I've got a lovely (mostly) blue skittle for you today.  I usually don't wear skittle manis, but when I have a lot of untrieds or receive a big nail mail package, I am usually too impatient to try out only one polish.  Thus, my 'themed' skittle manis.  I did have a baby blue holo that I could have used in place of Enchanted Winter, but I liked how the deep blues looked with the freshness of the white.
All of the polishes covered beautifully in two coats.  Love!

I'm just getting over a stomach bug and my nails are short and bare (sob), but crying out for some polish.  I hope I have the energy tonight to do them.  Take care!

RBL Manicurator and Coquette and KB Shimmer Foiled

I've worn the combo of turquoise and coral a bunch of times on this blog and, let me be frank, I will wear it many more (apologies for being boring).  I just love how bright and cheery the two are, especially when a gold or silver foil is added to the mix.  KB Shimmer Foiled was the white gold foil I used in this mani; it covered nicely in two coats, but if you use a light hand, three may be necessary.
RBL Manicurator and Coquette each applied creamily in two coats.  Such ease is expected from RBL polishes (99% of the time, anyway).  Manicurator is very similar to my all-time favourite turquoise shade, Cult Nails Manipulative, though the former is slightly brighter. Both have a beautiful almost-hidden shimmer.

Picture Polish Pharoah and Eerie

Another mani from the vault.  Normally, I'm not one for yellow gold, but since Picture Polish Pharoah is more champagne-toned and lighter than yellow gold (and holo!), it worked for me.  It paired nicely with Eerie, a lavender polish speckled with multicoloured microshimmer and scattered holo.  Both polishes applied nicely in two coats, which is normal for Picture Polish.

I love my PPs.  I need to show them the love and wear them more often, methinks.

KB Shimmer Spring holos

Quickie tonight.  Lovely spring coloured holos make me yearn for warmer weather (as I snuggle by the fireplace).  Enjoy the rest of your weekend ladies.

Too Fancy Spring in My Steps and Girly Bits Snafu

Ugh.  I've been sick the past five days:  sick-in-bed sick; lying-on-the-couch-to-watch-the-kids sick.  I've had the chills, the nighttime sweats, a hugely congested nose which still hasn't cleared up, a sore body, a constant headache, irritated eyes.  We had to cancel our little sweetie's birthday party, which was supposed to be today, because she is also not feeling well.  :(  Hopefully, we will both be fine in a month when we celebrate her then.

I had to look at my IG account to remember what these polishes were; isn't that holo on my two middle fingers stunning?  It is Too Fancy Spring in My Steps.  The outer whitish holo, which is not as boldly holographic, but nicely accented with micro glitter, is Girly Bits Cosmetics Snafu.  Both applied easily in two coats.

Very seasonally appropriate, no?  Perfect for the cold, snow-laden outdoors!

Cult Nails Time Traveler

Quickie for you tonight.  I'm usually not a medium or navy blue fan, but I really did like this mani when I wore it.  The deepness of the blue goes well with the holo sparks and the texture 'bling'.  Each of the polishes were two coats, but, as you can see, Time Traveler is somewhat of a jelly, so  the edges seemed to wear off quickly (note that I usually take my pictures soon after the polish is dry on my nails).

What polishes are gracing your nails these cold, blustery days?
